A few things about me –  I am originally from NY.  I moved to the Portland area about 10 years ago with my husband and 3 children who are now in middle school and high school. I have a BA in flute performance and an MA in Music Education.  I taught beginning and intermediate band in the South Bronx right after graduate school and really fell in love with this stage of learning in music. I started teaching private flute lessons again a few years ago and currently keep a small studio of students and now I am thrilled to be back in a school setting with band students.
